I normally go to the DQ in Manchester. They always have excellent and polite service. But their serving sizes appear to be getting smaller and smaller. That's why I was so pleasantly surprised when I went to this DQ in Concord. I ordered a small chocolate cone and I swear it was the same size as the medium in Manchester. And of course it was less expensive. It was also a perfect temperature, unlike the ice cold ones I get in Manchester. So moving forward, I'll put off my DQ purchases till I find myself in the Concord area.
Dairy Queen's hamburgers offer a satisfying and classic fast-food experience. While the focus might be on ice cream, their burgers shouldn't be overlooked. The patties are juicy and well-cooked, accompanied by fresh veggies and a choice of condiments. However, the menu's limited variety might disappoint those seeking unconventional options. Prices are reasonable, making it a budget-friendly choice. Service speed can be inconsistent during peak hours. Overall, Dairy Queen's hamburgers are a dependable choice for a quick and tasty bite, but don't expect gourmet options.
The chicken fingers are the best. Love how the dipping sauces are like twice the size as other places. The shake I ordered was good-sized and thick but was a bit skimping on the whipped cream.
The food prep is awful. It’s barely warm by the time it’s given to you, the burgers are as dry as they come, and they don’t actually add/ mix in extra toppings to your blizzards when asked, only sprinkled on top to appear as if they did give me what I paid for.
We went in around 800. We felt like the front end staff where not taking to eachother, and attending around doing not much. The back kitchen and ice cream makers where getting all the orders done in a somewhat timely manner.
Brought me back to my childhood where my dad would bring me or stop by to take home some Dilly Bars. Thing is, this place was the best DQ Location of all - with nicely kept areas - from the cleanliness, to the food cooking quality, Even better was the service....the girl behind the counter and register tonight rocked! Very personable, easy on the eyes, smiley, and able to joke around. She was kind enough to not only allow me time to eat (as they were closing up for the day), but also gave me the chance to chace to place a dessert order; after lobby was closed. Small extra effort - with big financial order imcome. I will definitely make a return visit.
Food that was hot was good it wasn't busy waited over 20 minutes for 2 burgers & 2 fries. The fries were done 10 minutes before the burgers & they just let them sit out on the shelf to get cold.
I only used the drive thru. Ordered two quarter pound cheeseburgers. I was pleasantly surprised to be asked how I would like to have them. Other fast food franchises don't ask me for that. Staff were friendly. Outside looked ok. Burgers were ok. Prices about the same as competition. Quick service.
Update: Sunday afternoon, March 2021: Drive thru and possibly curbside pickup for online orders only. I had offers through the DQ app so I went through twice to use two of them. One for me, one for my son. My friend ordered online but had to go inside to pick up her order.
I had the six piece grilled chicken rotisserie 🐔 bites with the Queso dip, which the server said "Good choice!", and a small Oreo Mocha Fudge Blizzard 🥶. I was given a larger size for the Blizzard. I got a small Choco Brownie Extreme Blizzard 🥶 for my son. The discounts worked.
The bites were a little greasy and the Blizzards a little runny, but, they were consumed without hesitation. My friend liked what she ordered.
If you like DQ, then you'll like this one.
